Caitlín Brown is from Belfast and graduated with an LLB (Hons) in Law from John Moore’s University, Liverpool in 2016. She attended Queens University Institute of Professional Legal Studies from 2018 to 2020 graduating with a commendation. She qualified as a solicitor in 2020 after a 2 year apprenticeship with a Belfast law firm.
Since joining the firm in 2020 Caitlin has gained extensive experience in the following areas of family law;
- Applications for Non-Molestation Orders and Occupation Orders,
- Defending Interim Care Orders,
- Defending Emergency Protection Orders,
- Defending Supervision Orders,
- Children Order cases including contact and emergency Residence Order applications,
- Divorce
- Ancillary Relief (the division of matrimonial assets),
Caitlín is also experienced in criminal defence work having attended PACE interviews, Magistrates Court, Crown Court cases and Youth Conferences while training with extensive experience in dealing with arrests and magistrates court bail applications since qualification.
