Meadbh O’Dowd qualfied as a solicitor in September 2025 after a 2 year apprenticeship with the firm from 2023 training across all departments.
Meadbh is from Lurgan and graduated from Queen’s University with an LLB (Hons) in Law in June 2020. She worked for a year as a paralegal for a human rights Belfast firm dealing with applications to the Historical Institutional Abuse Redress Board (HIA) and assisting with human rights, legacy and civil litigation cases.
Meadbh is a fluent Irish speaker who plays Gaelic football for her local club.
Meadbh practices in criminal defence cases including arrests under the Poilice & Criminal Evidence Act and Magistrates/Crown Court prosecutions, litigation including judicial review, family law, probate, entertainment law and is part of the HCC Environmental Law Department launched in 2024.
