Stephen Glenn Large is an up and coming Northern Irish comedy writer whose fictitious cross-community paramilitary organisation ‘The Dundonald Liberation Army (DLA)’, has become an internet sensation with tens of thousands of followers on Facebook. His self-published book regarding the DLA hit the #1 spot in the Kindle comedy charts within days of its release.
He is working along with BBC NI Comedy this summer, providing written material for a project which centres around both Irish national side’s involvement in the European Championships. Stephen has written several scripts which are currently locked in the commissioning process with some of the UK’s major television networks, as well as two plays which are scheduled for production in late 2016 and early 2017.
